Generally the game would become a total waste of time, anyone who would want this must imo fall into two groups.

1 someone who believes that people are mostly decent and the above would only happen on rare occasions.

2 someone who wants to do all of the above and more for fun

I hear WOW is just the thing you are looking for, tell them I sent you.

Lol I get your Point Seeing it that way, IF there are those kinds of noobs spammers kstealres etc in wow, than guild wars sure is better than wow for that matter, Like i said: Im gunna give guild wars a try, and even knowing tht its not a full MMORPG, i still wanna play cause seeing how the game looks just sort of attracted me to it xD

True, you can't jump, and although the maps are designed with that in mind, it occasionally gets annoying.

The instancing isn't IMO a problem - you have the people you want to be there, there, and if you want more, there's always the towns.

But for me one of the nicest aspects of GW is the graphics, which ranges from beautiful to claustrophobic to scary.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
But really GW isn't a true MMO, at least in the sense of WoW or EQ. It's still a good game though, and if you like people just go to a town, many ppl there :/
Jumping is overated imo unless you can dodge stuff....that'd be cool.
If GW doesn't feel alive, neither should WoW.

Go to http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ArenaNet and read the History section. Then you will see that Guild Wars was deliberately designed to be different than most MMO's. There are other quotes at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2 in the articles/interviews list at the page bottom, but this is one of the more interesting and sort of sums up most GW players feelings.

My friend and I finally made it into a major destination: a dungeon with a high-level boss. I looked around and then asked my friend, "Why are we standing here? Why are all these other people standing here?" He responded, "The boss spawns every six minutes. Looks like we have about 11 groups in front of us, so we'll be able to kill the boss, get the loot, and move on in just over an hour." I seriously and truly thought he was joking! He wasn't. )

Yes but just because missions had those downsides, it doesnt make MMOS bad, it might even have spammers and some killstealers, but every game has an idiot, and thats just normal, now, just cause every game has bad players doesent mean its bad and doesnt mean you have to create a whole different, thing, did he even consider if people woud like that new idea? Thats why MMOS are great, they make themselves feel like worlds and not games.

BUT Like i said> He didnt know if people would like tht idea, and appearantly they did Millions of them And i bet I will too <) All im saying is HAVING TO WAIT CAUSE OF OTHER PLAYERS ISNT A BAD THING, thats what Online gaming]sabout, LOADS AND LOADS OF PLAYERS, of course it would have down-sides, everything has down-sides. But saying that whole situation with loads of players afecting your gameplay is annoying, is just so not true, MMOS have very little down-sides, and they rock! And I bet GW DOES TOO! Thats why il give it a try, i understand your opinion perfectly

Who Knows? Il Probably Love it

PS> Couldnt find what you were talking about in the history section, just the names of creators of arenanet, if you could show me where id appreaciate it

THIS THREAD CAN BE CLOSED KNOW I GOT TEH IDEA CLEARED

But At Leas Players have a friend list, or a place where they can register players names and see when theyre online right? Or a Chat Channel where you can talk to the desired player privatly right? You know... arrange a time to meet with our friends in a town and all that so we can leave on a mission. Im sure it has that correct? I mean, theyre not gunna cut THE ENTIRE contact with people...... are..... they? Cause it would be plain stupidity if you meet a person, party with him or her, and then when you leave, and when you return the next day, youre prob never going to see that person again, thus making it a game only focused on US, thus no need for online play -.-, nah they wouldnt do that, or... would they?

Yes, players do have a friends list. Another nice feature about GW's social system is that it's account based rather than character based - so instead of having a million different entries to stay in contact with a single friend who alt hops a lot, you only need one character name and you'll be able to instantly look up your friend regardless of which character he's currently playing with.

Guild Wars does have a friend list. There is also the Guild system - if you join a guild you will have a roster that displays all the members as ether online or offline. You can also talk to your guild on the "Guild Channel". Guilds also get guild halls making meeting up even easier. As for private chat channels, there is the "Whisper" option which acts like a PM to the person your wanting to contact.

gw imo has one of the best chat/contact/friends list system

and tbh it also makes it teh easiest to meet up and play wit friends/other ppl
free travel and centralized outposts for grouping

no need to spend hrs of travelling to meet up wit ppl
jus open up ur map, double-click on the place, and ur there instantly

Uh, yeah, it is. A very bad thing indeed.

If you're so interested in socializing that you play MMO's to wait in line, then maybe you should consider a graphical chat program instead, like Habbo Hotel or Second Life.
